Foracort 200 Rota cap is widely used for treating asthma. It may be used in combination with other long-term medicines. It is also used for preventing breathing problems caused by exercise. It is also used for long-term management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Foracort200 Rotacap is a long-acting beta-agonist bronchodilator. It widens the air ways in the lungs which in turn helps you breathe more easily.

If you are allergic to milk protein or to any ingredient in Foracort 200 Rotacap, do not use it. Inform your doctor if you have a history of diabetes, low blood potassium levels, heart problems, blood vessel problems, high blood pressure, an adrenal gland tumour, seizures, or thyroid problems. Some medicines may interact with the action of Foracort 200 Rotacap. Tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicines.

Some of its common side effects are dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mild sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, nausea, stomach pain or upset, nervousness, tiredness tremor and trouble sleeping.

How to use Foracort Rotacap

Rotacaps must not be swallowed. Check the label for directions before use. Place the capsule at the base of rotahaler, not in the mouthpiece. Twist the mouthpiece completely until your hear a click and breathe in deeply through the mouthpiece. Hold your breath for up to 10 seconds. If some powder remains in the rotahaler repeat the process.

Foracort 200 Rotacap is a combination of two medicines: Formoterol and Budesonide. Formoterol is a long-acting bronchodilator which works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens the airways. Budesonide is a steroid. It works by stopping the release of certain chemical messengers that cause inflammation (swelling) of the airways. Together, they make breathing easier.
