Introduction:
As a kinase inhibitor, Sorafenib is used for cancers of kidney and liver. It helps decrease the growth and replication of tumor. This medication works by harming cancer cells, causing their death.
How to use it?
It comes in tablet form, and taken by mouth. It is suggested two times per day, before food. For adults, the recommended dose is 400 mg.
Common Side Effects:
Feeling tired, or weak. Low platelet count or Low white blood cell count. High blood pressure, Upset stomach or throwing up. Here small meals, sugar-free candy or sugar-free gum, and good mouth care may help. Other effects comprise: Loose stools, Hair loss, Weight loss, Bleeding problems or Itching. Belly pain, Muscle pain or Rash.
What do I do if I miss a dose?
A missed dose can be taken as you think about it. Skip the missed dose, if it is close to your next dose. Do not take extra doses or 2 doses at the same time.
