Terbinafine is a fungicidal drug. It interfere the conversion of Squalene to Ergosterol by inhibiting the enzyme Squalene epoxidase.This results in accumulation of Squalene in the fungal cells and leads to membrane distortion and death of the Fungus.

Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: blistering/swelling/oozing at the application site.A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare.
