This medication isused to treatacne. It may decrease the number and severityofacnepimples and promote quick healing of pimples that dodevelop. Tretinoin belongs to a class of medicationscalledretinoids. It works by affecting the growth ofskincells.
How to use Tretinoin0.025 % Topical Cream

Wash your handsbefore applying thismedication. Gently clean the affectedskinwith a mild or soa pless cleanser and pat dry. Use your fingertips to apply a small amount of medication (about the size of a pea) in a thin layer, usually once daily atbedtimeor as directed by your doctor. A gauze pad or cotton swab can be used to apply the liquid.
Side Effects
A brief sensation of warmth or stinging may occur immediately after applying themedication.Skinredness, dryness,itching, scaling,mild burning, or worsening ofacnemay occur during the first 2-4weeks of using the medication. These effects usually decrease with continue duse. A daytime moisturizer may be helpful for excessivedry skin(see Notes).
Precautions
Before usingtretinoin,tell your doctor orpharmacistif you are allergic to it; ortovitamin A-related drugs (other retinoids such asisotretinoin); orif you have any otherallergies. This product may contain in active ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.
