Introduction:
Manufactured by Biocon India, Everolimus is a prescription medicine. It is used for the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC), after unsuccessful treatment with Sorafenib or Sunitinib. Also, it is accepted as generic variant of Afinitor by Novartis. Accessible in 5 & 10 mg tablets, its pack size has 10 tablets.
How does it work?
This medication includes the active ingredient everolimus, which is a protein kinase inhibitor. Evertor works by inhibiting with the pathways signaling specific cancer cells to increase. Everolimus attaches with definite protein inside the cancer cells, and thus block the activity of protein kinase known as mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR). This stops the growth and multiply of cancer cells. Also, it stops the growth of blood vessels into tumor. Both the effects stop the growth of tumor.

How do I take it?
It should be taken once in a day, at same time. Can be taken with or without food. Swallow the entire tablet with a glass of water, do not break, chew or crush. Do not overdose.
