Zolmist5Mg Nasal Spray is marketed as swallowable tablets, nasal sprays or oraldisintegrating tablets with a dose of 2.5 and 5mg. Patients getting migrainesfrom aspartame are not advised to take the disintegrating tablets containingaspartame. There is no noteworthy effect on the effectiveness of Zolmist 5MgNasal Spray due to food intake in both males and females.

Side effects includemyocardial infarction,chest pain,dyspepsia, dysphagia,vertigo,myasthenia, somnolence, hypesthesia, paresthesia,myalgia,sweatingand others.

Zolmist 5Mg Nasal Spray shouldnot be taken by patients who are allergic to any of its ingredients, sufferingfrom phenylketonuria or any other type ofirregular heartbeat, coronary artery disease,ischemic heartdisease, other cardiacdisorders, brain blood vessel disease,high blood pressureor any other blood vesselproblems. Besides this, it is also not recommended for persons undergoing ergottype medication, sibutramine or a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (within theprevious 14 days).

Zolmist5 mg Nasal Spray is used to reduce the symptoms of migraine headaches. Itinhibits the substances that cause headaches and sensitivity to sound andlight. It does not help in the prevention and reduction of frequent attacks ofa migraine headache.
