Before taking this medicine

Youshould not use Lupron if you are allergic to leuprolide or similar medicinessuch as buserelin, goserelin, histrelin, nafarelin, or if you have abnormalvaginal bleeding that has not been checked by a doctor.

Certainbrands or strengths of leuprolide are used to treat only men and should not beused in women or children. Always check your medicine to make sure you have receivedthe correct brand and strength.

Leuprolidecan cause birth defects.Do notuse if you are pregnant.Tell your doctor right away if you becomepregnant during treatment.

How should I use Lupron?

Lupron Depot injection is injected into a muscle, every 3 to 6months. Lupron injection (for the treatment of prostatic cancer) is injectedunder the skin once per day.
